Downtown

Our downtown and surrounding streets once flourished with 60 commerical businesses.  This is no more but the core downtown still boasts old brick buildings giving the sense of a once thriving town.
RRCA is working to attract diverse businesses and entertainment to downtown, to attract visitors and allow residents more time at home for shopping needs and time  to commune more with one another.

To maintain the historical significance of these buildings, RRCA offers resources to help seek historical designations and grants to improve store-front facades..

Roachdale Hardware... a community essential!

Picture
The current owner of Roachdale Hardware is somewhat of a celebrity.... see video below by Phil Gulley, local author.  Along with every hardware item that you might need,  you'll also find a communal spirit among the locals.
